According to statistics from Korea Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea export a total of around 2.9 million tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in 2021, decreasing by 3% compared to the previous year.

Among them, the exports to Mexico, India, and Belgium increased significantly, reaching 472,000 tons, 173,000 tons, and 94,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 93.7%, 70.1%, and 61%, respectively.

In terms of imports, South Korea's CRC imports in 2021 amounted to roughly 219,000 tons, up by 37% year on year.
