The phosphor project for full-spectrum and high-color-rendering LED lighting of the Institute of Rare Earth won the first prize of the 2020 Rare Earth Science and Technology Award
A few days ago, the “High
Performance Phosphors and Application for Full Spectrum High Color Rendering
LED Lighting” project (No.: CRESTA2020-02-047) developed by R&D Rare Earth
as the main body and combined with downstream application companies won the 2020
China Rare Earth Science and Technology Award One First prize (technical
invention category).
In response to
the urgent need for high-end phosphors and supporting LED light sources for
full-spectrum high-color-rendering LED lighting, this project designed and
developed a new type of high-efficiency phosphor suitable for violet/blue
excitation, and invented halophosphate and multi-site doped garnet aluminum The
advanced preparation technology of multi-system materials such as acid salt and
oxynitride has developed and formed high-performance phosphor products; it has
broken through the full-spectrum and high-color-rendering LED light source
excited by violet/blue chips and its advanced packaging technology, and the
luminous efficiency of the device Indicators such as color rendering index have
reached the international advanced level. The technology of this project has
achieved achievement transformation, and has been applied in batches in many
leading domestic LED packaging companies, with significant economic and social
benefits.
The Rare Earth
Science and Technology Award eneltec is jointly established by the Chinese
Rare Earth Society and the China Rare Earth Industry Association, and is filed
by the Social Reward Office of the National Science and Technology Award
Office. It is reviewed once a year and divided into the first and second
prizes. The "2020 Rare Earth Science and Technology Award" is
selected. 9 first prizes and 11 second prizes were awarded.
