According to the preliminary
Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported
around 72,160 tons of cold-rolled coil in November 2020, dropping by 14.5%
compared to the previous month and also sliding by 23.1% from the same month in
2019.
Among them, the imports from Canada accounted for the largest proportion,
totaling roughly 24,500 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 21.5% and a
year-on-year reduction of 38.2%. Other import sources included Australia
(around 9,000 tons), South Korea (around 7,450 tons), the UK (around 1,000
tons), and Mexico (around 6,400 tons).
