ArcelorMittal announced on March 17 that it has launched its first three XCarb™ initiatives, as part of its goal to achieve net-zero commitment by 2050.

The three initiatives include XCarb™ green steel certificates, XCarb™ recycled and renewably produced, and XCarb™ innovation fund.

The new brand will be helpful for ArcelorMittal’s steelmaking activities of low and zero-carbon products and therefore have advancement in carbon-neutral steel production.

ArcelorMittal’s customers can obtain XCarb™ green steel certificates, which will help to reduce their Scope 3 emissions.
