China's export tax rebate policy still unclear, goods crowded into China's bonded warehouse
Due to the export tax rebates
that have not been finalized since the beginning of this year, some businesses
rushed to press the goods into bonded warehouses.
There have been rumors about the cancellation or reduction of export tax
rebates since the beginning of this year. At present, market participants
expected that there will be a transparent conclusion after the May Day holiday.
Therefore, in addition to the tense shipping situation, mills and traders not
only look for ships everywhere but also desperately dispatch the goods into
bonded warehouses, hoping to gain some opportunities for export or profit.
According to the news, some spot goods are also declared exports before the
policy is determined. For example, many processing plants in Taiwan that
originally imported from China are trying to finish customs declaration before
the export tax rebate is concluded.
