Recently, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Hanyin County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, completed the installation of 19 new "smart street lights" on Yuejiang North Road based on the pilot section of the eastern section of Beicheng Street. The installation of "smart street lights" not only allows the people along Yuejiang North Road and those who exercise in the past to enjoy a safer and more comfortable nighttime lighting environment, but also improves the city's informatization and intelligent service functions for the county and enhances the level of refined urban management. The construction of "splendid" Hanyin has added new highlights.

It is reported that since the trial operation of the pilot section of the smart street lighting system in Beicheng Street, Hanyin County, the system has been operating smoothly and has been well received by the people. The system allows street lights to automatically adjust brightness according to changes in actual ambient light, automatically detect faults and switch on and off regularly. It can significantly reduce power energy consumption and effectively reduce carbon emissions to achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction. At the same time, old-fashioned street lights reduce the cost of manual patrols and troubleshooting, greatly improving the efficiency of urban management.
