As the main road connecting multiple residential areas, Hai'an Road (from Changjiang East Street to the east gate of Zijin Garden) in Binhai District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, has no supporting lighting facilities due to its early construction time. In recent years, as more and more residents move into communities such as Sunshine Coast and Erlong Pearl, there are safety hazards in night travel.

In order to effectively address the concerns of the people and improve the service level of urban infrastructure, the Binhai District Construction and Transportation Bureau organized a field survey, made full use of idle resources, and relocated 13 idle street lights to this section of the road. After the supporting cables were used, they were "awakened" again, realizing the lighting of one side of the section, providing safety protection for surrounding residents to travel at night.

In the next step, the Binhai District Construction and Transportation Bureau will continue to focus on the shortcomings of people's livelihood, conduct a comprehensive investigation of similar problems, and further optimize urban functions and enhance residents' sense of happiness through the reuse of idle resources and infrastructure upgrades.
