It is understood that in recent years, Xicheng District has coordinated the urban renewal of the White Pagoda Temple Historical and Cultural Protection Area. With the support of the White Pagoda Temple Management Office and the guidance of the Chinese Buddhist Association, Beijing Huarong Infrastructure Company, a subsidiary of Financial Street Group, is responsible for implementing the White Pagoda lighting project. After multiple rounds of demonstration by experts in the fields of ancient buildings, culture, cultural relics and religion, it was finally determined that the Snow Mountain White will still be the main color, supplemented by Sandalwood Yellow to illuminate the tower body during specific periods. Snow Mountain White means purity and holiness, and Sandalwood Yellow echoes the solemnity of Buddhism and the heavy history. During the implementation process, when the light shines on the thirty-six copper garlands hanging under the canopy, the red copper emerges with a touch of Chinese red under the light. The lighting design adopts the method of long-distance illumination from multiple angles, far, medium and near, outlining the majestic outline of the white tower's covered bowl-style architecture while achieving the artistic effect of "seeing light but not seeing the lamp".

When night falls, the white tower shines brightly under the light, attracting many citizens and tourists to check in. Neighbors said that the white tower after lighting up has given the old city a new look, and they are proud of it, and their sense of happiness also brightens up with the lights on the tower. At the same time, lighting up the white tower has also injected new vitality into the night economy, driving the prosperity of surrounding catering, shopping, cultural experience and other consumer formats, and becoming a new engine to drive regional economic growth.

It is reported that in recent years, Beijing Huarong Infrastructure Company has taken "overall planning, overall renewal, overall improvement, and overall operation" as its core concept to achieve a dual improvement in the living environment and cultural quality of the block. Today, the East and West Forks of Baitasi District have both the rich historical heritage and the vitality of urban renewal. They have successively won the Outstanding Project of Beijing Urban Renewal Best Practice Selection, the Top Ten Outstanding Practice Projects of Xicheng District Historical and Cultural City Protection, "Beijing Municipal Characteristic Consumption District", "Beijing's Most Beautiful Streets and Lanes", and "City Walk's Most Beautiful Route".

It is also understood that with the completion of the transformation of the East and West Forks of Baitasi District in Xicheng District, the Baita Art Center and Baita Love Cultural Center, which represent the new form of East and West Forks culture, will also open in the near future. In conjunction with this year's summer consumption season activities, a series of cultural activities such as Baita sketching and photography will be launched one after another. Artists and citizens will be invited to make the historical district a participatory and interactive cultural living space, and continue to write a new chapter in cultural inheritance and urban renewal.
