The prices of raw materials such as coal have soared noticeably these days, while steel prices in the Chinese market continue to rebound. No doubt these positive signals do encourage the industry insiders in Taiwan. 

According to local market participants, although the steel demand remains weak at the moment, most of them believe that in the fourth quarter, the steel prices might get a chance to bounce after the off-season, as the steel prices have already approached the bottom. 

Meanwhile, they also believed that the output reduction in China could improve the market demand, making progress in restoring the balance between demand and supply.
