According to statistics, China’s hot-rolled coil (HRC) production totaled around 77.7 million tons in the first five months of this year, rising by 17.6% compared to the same period a year ago. The growth was 0.5% slower than that in the first four months of this year.
In terms of cold-rolled coil (CRC), the production in China in the January-May period amounted to approximately 17.9 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 22.1%, while the increase was 5.7% slower than that in the January-April period of this year.
