According to statistics from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), in the week ending on November 29, 2025, the production of US’ raw steel totaled 1.736 million net tons, decreasing by 1.4% from the same period a week ago and rising by 7.7% compared to the same period a year earlier. The capacity utilization rate was 75.8%, down by 1.1 percentage points week on week and up by 3.2 percentage points year on year.

As of the week ending on November 29, 2025, the adjusted year-to-date production of US’ raw steel has amounted to 82.394 million net tons, rising by 3.3% compared to the prior-year level. The capacity utilization rate was 76.9%, up by 1.4 percentage points year on year.
