Australia makes final ruling of first AD & CVD expiry review on China’s grinding balls

According to the Anti-Dumping Notice No. 2021/95 issued by the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission on September 8, 2021, the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology of Australia accepted the recommendation from the commission for the final ruling of the first anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) expiry review on grinding balls from China and decided to extend the validity period of the two orders from September 9, 2021.

The products involved are classified under HS codes 7325.91.00.26, 7326.11.00.29, and 7326.90.90.60.

The dumping margin and subsidy rate were set at 3.0%-95.4% and 8.2% for China on September 9, 2016, respectively. The validity was until September 9, 2021.

The first AD and CVD expiry review investigation was launched on December 14, 2020, based on the application filed by Australian company Commonwealth Steel Company Pty Ltd.
