Hoa Phat Group, a leading steel manufacturing group in Vietnam, reported that its sales volume of steel amounted to around 6.3 million tons in the first nine months of this year, growing by 43% compared to the same period a year ago.

Among them, the sales volume of construction steel occupied 2.8 million tons, that of hot-rolled coil (HRC) was nearly 2 million tons, and that of steel pipes was roughly 498,000 tons (a year-on-year decrease of 12%).

In September alone, Hoa Phat Group’s steel sales reached 738,000 tons, of which construction steel shared 327,000 tons, HRC had 176,000 tons, and the remainders were billet, galvanized steel, and steel pipes.
