According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 50,400 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in September, which increased by 6.1% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 16.8% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 37,600 tons, a month-on-month increase of 18.15% and a year-on-year hike of 25.85%. Canada ranked second with around 12,000 tons, and the exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.
During the period, the export value was around US$58 million, up by 3.2% month on month and 35.2% year on year.
