PT Vale Indonesia Tbk rebuilt its No.4 furnace under large-scale maintenance on December 14, which will help the company realize its plan to produce 90,000 tons of nickel matte every year by 2023.

The reconstruction of the No.4 furnace was scheduled to be completed within five months. The other three furnaces will be operated as usual to ensure the production of nickel matte.
