JSW Steel, a leading steel manufacturer in India, reported that the group’s combined crude steel output totaled 5.35 million tons in the third quarter of the 2022 fiscal year (October-December 2021), hiking by 6% compared to the previous quarter and by 28% from the same period a year ago.

On a standalone basis, JSW Steel’s crude steel output during the period amounted to 4.41 million tons, a quarter-on-quarter increase of 8% and a year-on-year hike of 8%.

During the given period, JSW Steel’s capacity utilization at the standalone level was at 94%.
