Hoa Phat Group, the largest steel manufacturer in Vietnam, achieved a sales volume of steel at 8.8 million tons in 2021, up by 35% compared to the previous year.

Among them, the sales volume of construction steel totaled 3.9 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 14%, accounting for 44% of the total sales; the sales volume of hot-rolled coils (HRC) was 2.6 million tons, tripled year on year, occupying 28% of the total output.

Besides, the production of galvanized steel products in 2021 exceeded the design capacity for the first time, reaching 428,000 tons.

Hoa Phat has a current annual production capacity of more than 8 million tons, which will increase to 14 million tons after its Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 iron and steel factory project is put into operation.
