According to the final Census
Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around
45,700 tons of steel coils in November 2020, slightly dropping by 0.2% compared
to the previous month and also down by 24.7% from the same month a year
earlier.
Among them, the imports from Canada accounted for the largest proportion,
totaling roughly 28,386 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 18.2% and a
year-on-year reduction of 32.1%. Other import sources included Germany (around
7,400 tons), the Netherlands (around 6,600 tons), and South Korea (around 2,300
tons).
