ArcelorMittal announced again
this week to increase its steel coils' price by EUR 50/ton, which was the sixth
consecutive week of price increases.
European mills considered the lack of production in Q3 and still gave priority
to long-term customers, then the remaining volume will be supplied to the spot
market. Therefore, cold-rolled coil (CRC) and galvanized steel currently will
not be delivered before Q3 from European mills.
Rising prices and insufficient supply have prompted some buyers to consider the
CRC with China origin, even the risk of anti-dumping duties.
