According to statistics from the US
Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 51,100 tons of
cold-rolled coils (CRC) in April, reducing by 2.0% compared to the previous
month while hiking by 110.3% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion,
totaling roughly 39,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 3.4% and a
year-on-year drop of 88%. Canada ranked second with around 11,200 tons, and the
exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.
During the period, the export value was around US$59 million, up by 6.8% month
on month and 151.1% year on year.
