According to the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC)’s resource recycling industry development plan during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the output of recycled non-ferrous metals will reach 20 million tons by 2025.

Among them, the output of recycled copper, recycled aluminum, and recycled lead will reach 4 million tons, 11.5 million tons, and 2.9 million tons, respectively. Besides, the resource recycling industry reached an estimated output value of RMB 5 trillion.
