According to a report released by Severstal, a company mainly working in the steel and mining industry in Russia, the firm’s sales of iron ore totaled around 4.66 million tons in the second quarter of this year, rising by 12% compared to the previous quarter.

Among them, the sales of iron ore pellet reached roughly 3 million tons, up by 13% quarter on quarter, due to better demand during the period. The sales of iron ore concentrate had a quarter-on-quarter increase of 11% to approximately 1.66 million tons.
