Copper price decreases as China will release more metal reserves. China's government will keep monitoring market conditions and will keep on releasing copper, aluminum, and zinc from its state reserves in order to control the balance of supply and demand.
As current copper, aluminum, and zinc prices are still high, so the China authority will step in to control the prices to return back to reasonable levels. So far, China's government has ordered to release 420,000 tons of the metals in three batches this year.
