Russia’s NLMK Lipetsk has begun to upgrade a cut-to-length line for hot-rolled steel No. 2, whose annual production capacity is 800,000 tons.

The investment of this project is more than RUB 2 billion. It will take eight months to finish the process, and the sales of these products will be started from August 2022.

The available range of thicknesses for high-strength steel sheets can be expanded from 3-12 mm to 3-25 mm. These steel sheets can be used to manufacture dump truck bodies, truck chassis, construction equipment, and other special-purpose machinery.
