According to statistics from US
Census Bureau, US steel imports in February totaled around 1.89 million short
tons, declining by 22% compared to last month.
Among them, the imports of finished steel were roughly 1.42 million short tons,
a 15% increase from the previous month.
During the period, the US still imported the most finished steel from South
Korea, totaling roughly 231,000 short tons, a 75% increase from last month.
From January to February, US steel imports amounted to around 4.3 million short
tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.5%, of which finished steel accounted for
about 2.66 million short tons, dropping by 11.1% year on year.
