U.S. Steel plans to build new production line for non-grain-oriented electrical steel
The spokesman of United States
Steel Corporation (U.S. Steel) disclosed that the company is planning to invest
US$450 million to build a new production line for non-grain-oriented electrical
steel. The new production line will be under Big River Steel, which is the
subsidiary company of U.S. Steel.
The new line will satisfy the demand for the electrical automotive industry.
The new production line was predicted to start formal production in the third
quarter of 2023. The company thought the demand for electrical steel will be
big in the future.
